Seed Vault is a built-in security feature on Solana Seeker and Saga devices that safeguards your secrets, such as seed phrases and private keys. It operates within the phone’s most secure hardware environment—completely isolated from Android and other apps—to ensure that your sensitive information remains protected, even if the operating system is compromised.

Secure Storage: Stores up to 8 seeds (12- or 24-word phrases) in a protected environment, encrypted and isolated from Android and apps.
Custom Security: Each seed is secured with a unique password and optional biometrics (e.g., fingerprint). You can set stronger security for long-term holdings or faster access for day-to-day accounts.
Full User Control: Manage exactly which apps can access each seed. This supports privacy and separation between different wallets.
Secure Transaction Signing: When sending crypto or interacting with the dApps, wallet apps submit a signing request to the Seed Vault. You authorize it with your password or biometrics, and the Vault signs the transaction without ever exposing your private key.
Simplified Wallet Migration: On a traditional phone, switching wallet apps often means manually copying and pasting your seed phrases—a risky and error-prone process. With Seed Vault, there’s no need to expose sensitive information. You just approve access using your password or fingerprint, making migration between apps both safer and more convenient.
